Cheesy Dynamite Chicken Buns are delicious, cheesy, and packed with flavor, making them a perfect snack or appetizer.

- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup diced green onions
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package (12 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, green onions, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Open the package of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a round disc about 1/4 inch thick.
- Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center of each biscuit disc. Fold the edges over the filling and pinch to seal tightly.
- Arrange the filled buns on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with dried parsley.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the buns are golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños or use a spicier hot sauce in the filling.
- Substitute the chicken with shredded rotisserie turkey or cooked ground beef for a different flavor profile.
