Description

Crab Rangoon Wonton Nachos are a delicious fusion of crispy wonton chips topped with a creamy crab mixture and melted cheese, drizzled with sweet chili sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup lump crab meat, drained and flaked
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 package (12 ounces) wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, lump crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Mix until well combined and creamy.
  3. Cut each wonton wrapper into quarters to create triangles. Arrange the triangles in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake the wonton triangles in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove the baked wonton triangles from the oven and spread the crab mixture evenly over the top of each triangle.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the crab mixture on each wonton.
  7. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Drizzle sweet chili sauce over the nachos and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a few dashes of hot sauce to the crab mixture.
  • You can substitute the lump crab meat with imitation crab or cooked shrimp for a different seafood flavor.
