Description
Crispy Air Fryer Gnocchi with Garlic and Parmesan is a delightful dish that combines the soft texture of gnocchi with a crispy exterior, enhanced by garlic and Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups potato gnocchi (store-bought)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the potato gnocchi, olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the gnocchi are evenly coated.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the bowl and toss again to ensure the cheese adheres to the gnocchi.
- Place the coated gnocchi in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook the gnocchi in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The gnocchi should be golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the gnocchi from the air fryer and garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the seasoning mix.
- Try tossing the cooked gnocchi with sautéed vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for added flavor and nutrition.
