Description

Crispy Chili Garlic Mushrooms are a delicious and flavorful dish that will amaze your taste buds with their crunchy texture and spicy garlic flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces button mushrooms, cleaned and stems trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cleaned mushrooms, olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Toss until the mushrooms are evenly coated.
  3. Spread the mushrooms in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through for even cooking.
  5. While the mushrooms are baking, mix together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  6. Once the mushrooms are done, remove them from the oven and drizzle the soy sauce mixture over them. Toss gently to coat.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, consider adding a tablespoon of cornstarch to the mushroom mixture before baking.
  • Experiment with different types of mushrooms, such as shiitake or portobello, for varied flavors and textures.
