Description
Crispy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings are a delicious and flavorful appetizer, perfect for parties or game day.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings, split and tips removed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This will help the wings get crispy.
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Toss until the wings are evenly coated with the spices.
- Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the garlic Parmesan sauce. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and immediately toss them in the garlic Parmesan sauce until well coated.
- If desired, return the coated wings to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes to allow the sauce to set and become crispy.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra heat, add 1-2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper to the spice mix.
- Try using different cheeses, such as Asiago or Romano, for a unique flavor twist.
