Crispy Parmesan Cauliflower Bites are Simply Irresistible!


Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian seasoned)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add the cauliflower florets to the egg mixture and toss until well coated.
  4. In another bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
  5. Take each cauliflower floret from the egg mixture and coat it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere. Place the coated florets on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Lightly spray the tops of the cauliflower bites with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil for extra crispiness.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mixture.
  • For a gluten-free version, substitute regular breadcrumbs with gluten-free breadcrumbs or crushed pork rinds.
