- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter and milk together.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 1 minute.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
- Brush the top with olive oil and sprinkle with minced garlic, then top with grated Parmesan cheese and parsley.
- Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide, then twist each strip several times.
- Place the twisted strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they don’t touch.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a cheesy twist, add 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese to the dough.
- For a spicy kick, incorporate 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes into the dry ingredients.
