Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter and milk together.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 1 minute.
  6. Roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
  7. Brush the top with olive oil and sprinkle with minced garlic, then top with grated Parmesan cheese and parsley.
  8. Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide, then twist each strip several times.
  9. Place the twisted strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they don’t touch.
  10. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  11. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.

  • For a cheesy twist, add 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese to the dough.
