Description

Delightful party treats made with creamy goat cheese and sweet honey, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces goat cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 package (8 ounces) crackers (your choice)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened goat cheese, honey, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  2. Fold in the chopped walnuts, dried cranberries, and fresh rosemary until evenly distributed.
  3. Using a small cookie scoop or your hands, form the cheese mixture into bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the cheese balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Serve the chilled goat cheese bites with your choice of crackers on a platter.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture.
  • Substitute the walnuts with pecans or almonds for a different flavor and texture.
