Description
A delicious and easy recipe for honey-glazed salmon that is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides and place them skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the honey glaze generously over the top of each salmon fillet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
- For an extra caramelized finish, broil the salmon for an additional 1-2 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the honey glaze.
- Serve the salmon over a bed of steamed rice or quinoa, and add a side of sautéed vegetables for a complete meal.
