A delicious and creamy KFC-style coleslaw that is perfect as a side dish.
Ingredients

- 1 small head green cabbage, finely shredded (about 6 cups)
- 2 medium carrots, grated
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and grated carrots.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, buttermilk, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, black pepper, and celery seed until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, mixing well to combine.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, add an extra tablespoon of mayonnaise.
- You can also mix in some chopped green onions or diced apples for added flavor and crunch.
