Description
A delicious and spicy Korean ramen dish topped with grilled beef and a creamy sauce.
Ingredients

- 8 ounces of ramen noodles
- 1 pound of beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of ginger powder
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 4 cups of beef broth
- 1 cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of miso paste
- 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a large pot, bring the beef broth and water to a boil. Stir in the miso paste, rice vinegar, and sugar until dissolved.
- Add the ramen noodles to the boiling broth and cook according to package instructions, usually about 3-4 minutes.
- Once the noodles are cooked, reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Allow to simmer for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve the ramen in bowls, topped with the grilled beef, chopped green onion, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
Notes
- For added heat, include sliced jalapeños or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
- Substitute the beef with grilled chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
