- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned, drained)
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 package of your favorite crackers (about 8 ounces)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning mix. Mix until smooth and well blended.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly onto a serving platter or a large plate.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the cream cheese layer.
- Evenly distribute the diced tomatoes, black olives, and green onions on top of the cheddar cheese.
- Serve immediately with crackers, or cover and refrigerate for up to 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the cream cheese mixture.
- You can also substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream for a healthier option.
