Ingredients
  

  • 2 6-ounce salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 green onion chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Aluminum foil

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, cornstarch, and water until smooth.
  3. Place each salmon fillet on a piece of aluminum foil large enough to wrap it completely. Season the fillets with salt and pepper.
  4. Spoon the glaze evenly over each salmon fillet.
  5. Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon to create a sealed packet.
  6. Place the foil packets on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Carefully open the foil packets (watch for steam) and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
