Preheat your oven to 350°F.
In a medium saucepan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Heat over medium until simmering.
Add the sliced roast beef and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until heated through.
While the beef is heating, slice the hoagie rolls lengthwise but not all the way through. Spread butter on the outside of the rolls.
Place the rolls on a baking sheet.
Once the beef is heated, fill each hoagie roll with the beef mixture.
Top each sandwich with two slices of provolone cheese and jalapeños if using.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving.
