  • 2 shots Espresso or Strong Brewed Coffee Double the coffee for brewed coffee.
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar Can substitute with stevia or monk fruit.
  • 2 tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Other flavor extracts can be used.
  • 1 pinch Salt
Garnish
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Brew a shot of espresso or a strong cup of coffee, using double the usual coffee grounds if brewed.
  2. In a medium saucepan, mix together oat milk, brown sugar, pure maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  3. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring regularly until it steams (5-7 minutes), but do not boil.
  4. Froth the heat mixture using a milk frother or a whisk until light and airy (2-3 minutes).
  5. Pour brewed coffee or espresso into a mug and spoon the frothed oat milk mixture on top.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon on top of the frothy latte and serve immediately.
