Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups orange juice freshly squeezed or store-bought
  • 1 cup milk whole or 2%
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract optional
  • 1 1/2 cups ice cubes

Method
 

  1. In a blender, combine the orange juice, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and almond extract (if using).
  2. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and the sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Add the ice cubes to the blender and blend again until the ice is crushed and the mixture is frothy.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired by adding more sugar.
  5. Pour the Orange Julius into tall glasses and serve immediately.
