In a large bowl, combine the prawns, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Toss until the prawns are evenly coated.
In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese together.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Dip each prawn into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to ensure they are coated well.
Place the coated prawns in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Cook the prawns for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Remove the prawns from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
