Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Drain and press the tofu in a clean towel for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Cut the tofu into uniform 1-2 inch cubes.
  3. Whisk together the plant milk and soy sauce in a bowl for the batter.
  4. Mix flour, panko breadcrumbs, minced garlic, dried herbs, paprika, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
  5. Dip each tofu cube in the wet mixture, then coat in the dry mixture.
  6. Heat cooking oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Fry tofu nuggets in batches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  8. Transfer cooked nuggets to paper towels to drain excess oil.
  9. Serve immediately with dipping sauces.
