Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Carefully clean the mushrooms by wiping with a damp paper towel; do not rinse.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine Italian cheeses, fresh herbs, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  4. Place cleaned mushroom caps on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes to reduce moisture.
  5. Fill each cooled mushroom cap with 1-2 tablespoons of the cheese filling and arrange in the baking dish.
  6. Melt butter and drizzle over the stuffed mushrooms.
  7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20-30 minutes.
  8. After baking, uncover, sprinkle with additional cheese, and bake for another 2-3 minutes.
