- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather ingredients and equipment.
- Roll out your pie crust to about 1/8 inch thick and cut into circles for your mini pie dishes.
- Lightly grease your pie dishes with butter or olive oil.
- Press the crust circles into the bottom of each pie dish.
- Combine pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and optional protein in a bowl. Add toppings and seasonings, mix well.
- Spoon the filling into each crust, leaving a little space at the top.
- Place a second crust on top, sealing the edges and slashing to allow steam to escape.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and filling is bubbling.
- Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
