Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium heat.
Grill the hot dogs for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until they are heated through and have nice grill marks.
While the hot dogs are grilling, heat the chili in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.
Once the hot dogs are done, place each one in a bun.
Spoon a generous amount of warm chili over each hot dog.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the chili.
Add diced onions and jalapeños for extra flavor and crunch.
Drizzle sour cream, mustard, and ketchup over the loaded hot dogs.
Sprinkle with chili powder, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve immediately while hot.
