 - In a medium saucepan, combine water and milk; bring to a boil. Slowly whisk in the polenta, reduce heat, and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring until thickened.
 - While the polenta cooks, heat a large skillet over medium heat and sauté diced onion, minced garlic, and bell pepper in olive oil for 5-6 minutes until soft.
 - Add sliced sausages to the skillet and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until browned.
 - Grease your baking dish and layer the cooked polenta mixture, followed by the sausage and vegetable mixture. Top with remaining grated cheese.
 - Bake in the oven for approximately 20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
 - Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
