  • 1/2 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese Pecorino Romano can be an alternative.

Step-by-Step Instructions for Caprese Dip
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and position the oven rack in the middle.
  2. Add 1 cup of whole cherry tomatoes to a medium-sized baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and mix in basil pesto, minced garlic, and a pinch of kosher salt and black pepper. Bake for 15 minutes until the tomatoes blister.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream with fresh basil. Fold in low-moisture mozzarella, provolone, and parmesan cheese until well combined.
  4. Mix the roasted tomato mixture with the cheese blend, gently folding to melt the cheeses slightly. Top with remaining halved cherry tomatoes.
  5. Return dish to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven, let it rest for a minute, then sprinkle with fresh basil before serving with bread, chips, or crackers.
